Club Velvet

Club Velvet draws its inspiration from the past...Think Aladdin's cave, fairytales, fun. Who says adults can't enjoy these things too? With bold colours like purple, gold and black, the effect is meant to be exciting, mysterious, a bit adventurous.
Downstairs, there is a dancefloor to party the night away on, a large, curved bar and plenty of room to stand around and catch up with friends. Upstairs, kick back and relax in the lounge area under a soft canopy floating above your head and enjoy the music.
Club Velvet is not your average nightspot!

Monday, October 22, 2007

my insperation for my club comes from my favorite kind of music to dance to. "sleazy electo pop, dirty base and also drum beats"
my club will have a modern clean, fresh feel with a sexy safari leapord print intwined.
Dancing being the most important thing of my club the dance floor will be the biggest level with the stage for the artist being a level higher so he/she will be abel to see there fans dance the night away.
the bar will be on the same level as the stage but in the opposite side. the colours wil be earthy bright.

my club

Whispers.....

This is a Tattoo insired day/evaning club.

A place where anyone can come in show off there tatts have a beer or wine during the day or come back with a group of mates and watch live music while shaken what there momma gave them.

Whispers is Tattoo inspired, showing Flash art and film clips of tattoo canventions and world renowned artists at there best.
there will be a small upstaires bar and balcony where you can sit out in the fresh air and have a bite to eat or have your own private function.
The design is inspired by a drawing of my own which will be the feature of the club and using the colours from that piece in the colour skeam of the interior.
the colours will be black, grey, a pastel pink , white and gold to add a lil bling and a hint of checkers to give it a clean punk/indy look if that is possible.
I want whispers to look clean and heavenly while at the sametime being a place filled with tattood people and there friends from the age of 18 to40 and there familys.
Whispers.....

Alyce's night club interior

My night club is going to be retro themed, it will have a fun energetic vibe. The interior will be bright and full of colour with disco balls hanging from the ceiling. It is going to have multi level dance floors with random poles for a bit of fun. I want to have retro styled furniture like fluro bean bags and curved chairs. The walls will be covered in abstract art work to create a feel of surrealism. Although the club is retro I want the music to be fresh new dance tunes, with different DJs each weekend. The stairs to the top level will be funky and light up. I want a curved bar for a relaxed yet funky feel. The club will be for over 18s and will be mainly suited to a younger age group like the just turned 18s to 25. My club is for people who r full of life and energy that want to party and dance all nite.

Justin's night club

HEY CLUBNUTS,
MY CLUB WILL HAVE A SURREAL AND MODERN FEEL. IT WILL BE VERY OPEN WITH GOOD LIGHTING. IT WILL BE ON A BUSY STREET SAY GEORGE STREET SYDNEY. THE USE OF A VERY LARGE OPENING AND LOTS OF GLASS AT THE ENTRANCE WOULD BE USED AS A MARKETING TOOL. BEING A BUSY STREET PEOPLE WOULD BE ABLE TO WINDOW SHOP AND THEN ENTER.
THIS CLUB WOULD BE MULTI LEVELED AND WILL HAVE MANY ABSTRACT LOOKING PILLARS ONE OF WICH WOULD HAVE AN ELEVATOR IN IT LEADING TO THE SECOND LEVEL. THIS LEVEL WOULD BE FOR CHILLING OUT WITH LOTS OF LOUNGES AND TABLES AND SOFT LIGHTING IT WOULD BE MADE UP OF THREE BIG CIRCLES LINKED BY BRIDGES WITH TIMBER RAILINGS. OVERALL THE CLUB WOULD HAVE AN EARTHY FEEL USING LIME WASHED COLOURS AND POLLISHED CONCRETE FLOORING. THE LAYOUT WOULD CONSIST OF A VERY LONG BAR THAT WOULD HAVE CURVES IN IT. THE CLUB WOULD BE INFLUENCED BY SUCH BARS AS THE ESTABLISHMENT IN SYDNEY AND ALSO WOULD HAVE A GAUDI FEEL.

UTOPIA

After further research and thought i have decided to call my nightclub "Utopia" which will be a modern and stylish theme for my design. This will be a place where hip regulars sip exotic cocktails on soft-cushioned lounges and dance until early hours of the morning. Utopia ill be the hottest venue to be seen in. I am going to use the symbol of a key as the symbol to represent the club in many different ways.(The key to utopia-a perfect place) This symbol will be used for V.I.P keyrings, promotional flyers, a feature wall image, entry stamp symbol etc. I want to use a warm and inviting colour scheme incorporating deep purples and reds, golds, fresh white, shiny and timber finishes, mood lighting and devine material. I want to use soft curves throughout my club design on things such as the service bar, d.j booth, lounges and tables and V.I.P box to creating a funky and inviting mood that looks, smells and feels glamerous. I will also incorporate modern images and details to enhance the overall atmosphere of Utopia. The main focus of my design is to create an inviting environment for socialising, drinking and dancing. A mixture of the very latest house, hip-hop and R&B music will be played.

jade's nightclub

C.U.B.

The name of my nightclub is C.U.B., which (in this context) basically means ‘youth’. I’m using this name because the target market of the club is ages 18 to 27. The theme is 80’s vs. ethnic! Ethnic meaning, African, Indian, Bollywood etc. mixed with authentic 80’s!! My inspiration is primarily from M.I.A’s art. Her music will also be the feature album playing in C.U.B. The atmosphere of C.U.B. will be energetic, colourful, fun, loud, shiny, metallic, 80’s vs. ethnic, African and heaps of lights! The logo ‘C.U.B.’ will be in a blocky pixelly font to represent the authentic 80’s feel. C.U.B. is just a nightclub, not a day club, hours from 8 am to 5 am. Inside there will be a few plasma TV’s, a bar, a dance floor, lounges, seating and a jukebox. There will also be an area with beanbags and pillows for a more relaxed area. The plasmas will mostly being playing MI.A.’s film clips and other 80’s and ethnic videos. The dance floor will be a large part of the club with lights and animated shapes on the floor using lots of bright colours. The staff will be dressed appropriately in 80’s and ethnic clothes and anything colourful, creative and bright. I think I want to incorporate a lion or tiger cub in my logo, obviously because it relates to the name ‘C.U.B.’ and also because it relates to Africa!

Elise’s Night Club-

My nightclub will be smooth, sexy, lush and comfortable. It will be inspired by modern art movements such as abstract expressionism, cubism, pop art, optical art all of which focus on the use of colour and shape to express feelings and moods. There will be a deep rich colours on the walls and artworks as feature walls. There will be endless lighting highlighting the stage, bar and dancefloor areas. The nightclub will have an organic abstract curviature to it including the bar, stage, upstairs lounges and balcony overlooking the stage. It will be curved, modern and sleek. There will be luxurious polished wooden floors and wooden stairs leading to the second floor, stainless steel and wooden accents throughout the bar area and tall ceilings giving the sense of space. There will be a nightly DJ and weekly live bands appearing. It will attract people ages 18-30.

Jasmines nightclub

The initial idea for my nightclub interior is based on a glamerous theme. I am brainstorming around the idea of "Club Crystal" where all the interiors are eye catching and modern. It will involve a lot of clear and crystal surfaces and appealing mood lighting. Think rich red curtains and sparkling chandeleirs. I may include a water feature, lights in the glasses and comfy, wide lounges with loads of cushions. There would be silver service type bar tenders, a raised dj box and lights andsparkles everywhere. I would include a v.i.p lounge decked out in 5 star luxury. This club is the place to be!!
